Jay Leeb, V.M.D.

Dr. Leeb grew up in Philadelphia. He attended Central High School, Class 224 and then Penn State University, graduating with a B.S. in Animal Science. He attained his Veterinary Medical Doctorate degree from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. He spent two years practicing in Arizona and returned to establish and run Bensalem Veterinary Hospital successfully from 1976 until 2017.  His practice is now one of the World of Animals Veterinary Hospitals where Dr. Leeb continues to care for patients, large and small.


Aside from his love of veterinary medicine, Dr. Leeb stays active riding his bicycle, hiking, and playing guitar and ukulele. He enjoys reading, science, spiritual, political, literature, among other subjects.


Dr. Leeb and his beloved wife of 32 years, Sheryl, reside in Bucks County with their 2 rescued greyhounds, Suze and Kizzie.
