Welcome to World of Animals, Inc. at Bensalem

Are you looking for a veterinary hospital that treats all pets like furry family members – seeking assistance with questions or concerns regarding your pet’s health? At World of Animals at Bensalem, our doctors and staff are pet owners, too, so we know firsthand just how precious these animals can be to their owners. This understanding inspires in us a dedication to keeping our clients’ pets healthy and happy for as long as possible and giving every one of our patients the same standard of care we would provide to our pets.

Led by veterinarians  Dr. Jeffrey Stupine and Dr. Alexandra John, our team at World of Animals at Bensalem makes it their priority to ensure our clients’ pets’ health and well-being. This concern extends beyond the time our clients and their best friends spend in our office. We believe the best solution to an emergency is to prevent it from happening in the first place. That is why we make it our goal to educate our clients on all aspects of pet health and preventative care.

Browsing our website, our clients will have the opportunity to learn valuable information for maintaining the long-term health of their pets by reading our educational articles. We hope this information will equip our clients with the tools needed to deal with the daily challenge and learning experience we know raising an animal to be.

First-Time Patients

New patients must establish a baseline by which to measure any changes in their pet’s health. For this reason, we recommend a complete physical examination for all pets on their first visit to our office, followed by regular examinations after that to monitor their pet’s health. For senior pets, as well as pets with certain medical conditions, we recommend more frequent examinations.

The first-time and periodically recurring examinations will enable us to identify any potential problems before reaching an advanced stage, improving the likelihood of a speedy and successful recovery. These examinations involve inspecting the client’s pet from head-to-toe, feeling for any bumps or lumps which may be located on either the inside or the outside of the body, checking the ear canal using an otoscope, examining the eyes with an ophthalmoscope, checking for diseases of the teeth or gums, and listening to their pet’s heart and lungs to ensure that they are functioning normally.

Please bring the pet’s medical history to their first visit. This history will give us a better understanding of the pet’s health and improve our ability to provide proper care; this includes the pet’s vaccination history. We need to be aware of the diseases against which they are protected. If this information is available, please share it with our team. Otherwise, let us know, and we will contact our client’s pet’s previous clinic to request a copy.

The veterinarians and staff at World of Animals at Bensalem are looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members so that we may provide high-quality and effective health care with convenience, integrity, and compassion.
